us.
But what is color?
Exploring the relationship between the physical properties of light and the sensation of color will help students
understand much of what they see.
White light can be separated into many wavelengths, and colored light can be combined to form white light.
Studying how light can be separated and combined helps students understand how light interacts with matter.
